Experimenting with and developing XR hardware, acquiring and maintaining equipment such as VR headsets, AR glasses, LiDAR scanners, and 360° cameras, and providing a lending service for students, researchers, and other interested parties.

Researching and developing projects integrating AI with XR, including AR-powered AI agents and AI training in virtual environments.

Researching and developing telerobotics to enable remote robot control using XR hardware, particularly in collaboration with AI and virtual environments for automation training.

Optimizing websites for AR and VR viewing, ensuring immersive and interactive user experiences. Exploring novel user authentication technologies such as World ID and Orb.

Developing digital twins of TUM and potentially Munich, simulating real-world environments for various applications. Exploring digital twin technology for industrial simulations, smart manufacturing, robotics testing, and real-time data visualization across various fields.

Creating and promoting digital 3D art and immersive cultural experiences, such as virtual exhibitions, and exploring XR applications in gaming, virtual concerts, and interactive media.

Exploring the applications of XR in academia, collaborating with TUM faculty and research groups from different fields, providing academic projects of different levels from various study programs, and organizing trips to international research conferences.

Exploring XR use cases in the industry, such as CAD in XR, product development, hybrid working environments, and business management. Establishing industry collaborations, seeking sponsorships, and undertaking industry projects.

Developing and supporting XR-related startup projects, such as Comsphere - the most human social platform, and fostering a network of student entrepreneurs in the emerging domain of XR.

Organizing hackathons, workshops, VR parties, research conferences, and networking events to encourage innovation and knowledge-sharing among members. Partnering with other TUM student organizations and external entities on larger projects and events by providing expertise on XR construction and hardware.
